This fun course combines practical, industry-relevant technical training with confidence building, employability, business planning, financial guidance and structured progression support; whilst also creating professional relationships and employment opportunities with local beauty businesses.

What will I receive?

• Hands-on technical training in your chosen specialist pathway, with approximately 70–80% practical learning during the skills phase.

• Practice on models and supervised clients through realistic clinic or salon-style activities.

• An educational and industry-recognised certificate on successful completion.

• A professional starter kit, workwear attire and learning materials to reduce the cost of beginning work.

• A treatment portfolio including before/after images and practical case studies.

• Confidence, communication, consultation, customer-service and employability development.

• Business launch support, including a business plan, service menu, pricing, social-media content and marketing guidance.

• Guidance on self-employment, HMRC registration and applying for a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR), where this is the participant’s chosen

route.

• Industry insight, local employer engagement and support with job applications or further training.

• In house, real-world work experience opportunities with local beauty/wellbeing businesses.

• Three months of post-programme mentoring focused on employment, business development, marketing and client acquisition.

Points to know:

• No previous beauty experience is required for beginner pathways; commitment, attendance and a genuine interest in progressing are essential

• Participants will gain practical skills, confidence, real-client experience and the tools needed to begin building income

• Training is fully funded for eligible participants, subject to referral, eligibility checks and available places

• Places are limited to eight participants per cohort to provide focused tutor support

• Participants must be prepared to attend consistently, practice between sessions where required and take part in progression activity
