Connect to Work
If you have a learning disability/difficulty or you're neurodiverse and find yourself either out of work or feel at risk of losing your job – the Connect to Work team can help you find work or stay in work you love.
What does Connect to Work offer?
Through Connect to Work you’ll get your own dedicated employment specialist who will provide you with the ongoing support to help you reach all your employment goals.
You’ll also get:

One to one support or small group sessions

Help to identify your strengths, needs and goals

Support to produce a CV and apply for jobs

Preparation for interviews

Contact with local employers

On and off the job support
Through Connect to Work, our team will work with employers to support you into paid work.
We’ll help you learn what you need to so you can feel confident and keep your job.

If you meet the criteria below, then yes, Connect to Work is for you.
- You have a learning disability, difficulty or consider yourself neurodiverse.
- If you’re motivated to work but find that your learning disability or difficulty prevents you from getting, or keeping, the right job.
- If you’re someone who has left full time education.
- Or if you’re someone at risk of losing your current job and/or need support to keep your existing employment.
To participate you’ll also:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Not be enrolled on another DWP employment programme
- Have settled UK status and access to public funds
