This brilliant programme is designed to support you from improving your health and wellbeing through to exploring training, volunteering and employment opportunities. If you're aged 16+ and out of work, then read on.

Get active – take part in free, welcoming activities to improve your physical and mental wellbeing, build confidence and meet new people.
Build confidence – access ongoing support, develop new skills and set personal goals in a supportive environment.
Explore opportunities – discover pathways into the Hospitality, Sport and Leisure sectors through tailored advice and guidance.
Progress forward – access free qualifications, volunteering opportunities, employability training and one-to-one support to help you move towards employment, education or further training.

What will you receive?

  • Free accredited qualifications to help build your skills and enhance your CV
  • CV writing and job application support to help you present yourself confidently to employers
  • Employer showcase events where you can meet local employers, explore opportunities and learn about different career pathways
  • Volunteering opportunities to gain experience, build confidence and develop transferable skills
  • Ready for work training covering workplace expectations, interview skills, communication and employability skills
  • Team building activities to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills
  • One-to-one employment and progression support tailored to your aspirations and needs

These sessions are designed as a welcoming introduction to our wider support programme. Alongside physical activity, you'll have access to:

  • Health and wellbeing support
  • Confidence-building opportunities
  • Social connections and peer support
  • Guidance towards positive lifestyle changes
  • Signposting into Employability Support into the Hospitality, Sport and Leisure industry

When do these sessions run?

When: Every Monday Afternoon
Where: Armthorpe Community Centre, Welfare Park, 20 Church Street, Armthorpe, DN3 3AG
Activities include:

  • Gentle Yoga
  • Movement and Mobility Sessions
  • Multi-Sport Activities
  • Fun Physical Activity Sessions

When: Every Tuesday Late Afternoon/ Evening
Where: The Retail Store, 7-9 Bennethorpe, Doncaster, DN2 6AA
Activities include:

  • Beginner-Friendly Running Club
  • Multi-Sport Activities
  • Table Tennis
  • Health and Wellbeing Activities

When: Every Thursday Afternoon
Where: Brodsworth Miners Welfare, Great North Road, Woodlands, Doncaster, DN6 7HR
Activities include:

  • Boxercise (Non-Contact Boxing Fitness)
  • Multi-Sport Activities
  • Low-Impact Fitness Sessions
