Find Your Voice

This course is delivered by Find Your Voice, a community organisation that uses group singing to support people who face barriers to learning and inclusion. Participants sing songs chosen by the group, helping to build confidence, wellbeing, and a sense of connection. As trust grows, the group is supported to have open conversations about their goals, challenges, and hopes for the future.

Participants will:

•     Learn technical aspects of posture, breathing, voice and sound and how to use these in workplaces and everyday life, identifying their 3 favourite techniques to continue applying daily

•     Explore their bodies through multi-sensory movement activities, discovering that exercise can be enjoyable, identifying what good physical and mental health means for them and develop a personalised keeping healthy toolkit

•     Build body confidence and spatial awareness skills

•     Learn and practice presentation and performance skills, reflecting upon and evaluating individual and group progress

•     Improve health and wellbeing through singing and being part of a group

•     Build confidence, independence and resilience
