Together, we explore more sustainable ways of living and working.
Our courses offer a fun introduction to sustainability, bringing transferable green skills to life through a series of practical work-based projects.
Skills certificates are awarded at the end.
You can apply to work on one project, or multiple projects.
Brickwork and Hard Landscaping
Rolling start dates Nov 2024 – Mar 2025
Friday’s 10:00 – 14:30
- This four week course will teach you basic hard-landscaping skills, using reclaimed materials. Projects may include:
- Building Brick Compost Bays
- Building Brick Raised Beds
- Laying Garden Paths.
Upcycling
4th Feb – 11th Feb 2025
Tuesday’s 10:00 – 12:30
- This two week course will show you how to upcycle every day objects whilst thinking about simple ways we can help to reduce waste at home and work, and protect the environment.
Sustainable Gardening
7th -28th March 2025
Friday’s 10:00 – 14:30
- This four week course will teach you some simple techniques to help care for green spaces to help wildlife thrive. We will think about how we can contribute to achieving net zero by making small changes to the way we use our green spaces. Activities are seasonable, and may include soil care, tree planting, pruning & training, seed sowing.

Refreshments are provided and full day courses include lunch.
Personal protective equipment (e.g. steel toe capped boots) will be provided.
We are an accessible venue and our training is designed with inclusivity in mind. Our staff are experienced in working with people from all walks of life, and our team includes a number of trained mental health first aiders.
